Recently, the 2024 China International Fair for Trade in Services (hereinafter referred to as “CIFTIS”) was held in Beijing. As the only state-level, international, and comprehensive service trade platform, the CIFTIS is jointly hosted by China’s Ministry of Commerce and the Beijing Municipal Government and supported by the WTO and the United Nations.
Farben’s domestic SoC intelligent cockpit DC platform was selected as a “Model Service Case for Development Potential.” It is learned that the selection of model service cases is a signature activity of the CIFITS that aims to solicit excellent cases that inspire the development potential of service trade and make prospective and revolutionary contributions.

Farben’s domestic SoC intelligent cockpit DC platform
It provides a full set of software and hardware solutions for intelligent cockpits ranging from the application layer to the underlying chip. Based on industry-leading technologies and independent innovation, the platform uses domestic modules, including SoC, MCU, SerDes, 4G, and WIFIBT, to perform eye movement tracking, health monitoring, cloud games, and other functions to accommodate different cockpit scenarios, including driving, entertainment, monitoring, and high hashrates. Featuring domestic innovation, the DC platform is meant to serve as a generic platform that substantially reduces the technical difficulty of intelligent cockpit development and enhances development efficiency.
Highlights in terms of technology and innovation:
1.Domestic IT innovation: Using massive domestic chips and hardware, the platform is safe, independent, and cost-effective, with its performance comparable to foreign products of the same level.
2.Solution innovation: The platform uses a solution combining SoC and MCU, which projects navigation, music, and other information from the central control screen to the dashboard, making driving easier.
3.Independent FW architecture innovation: Through optimization and reconstruction based on Google’s Android architecture, the platform is improved and enhanced in multiple aspects, thus improving the performance, reducing the difficulty of secondary development, and shortening the development cycle.
4.Application innovation: Functions such as eye movement tracking, health monitoring, cloud games, vehicle-phone interconnection, and fast application are introduced creatively.
