Farben's AI-Powered AML Solution has been featured in the Shenzhen Financial AI Solutions Collection (2026)

2026.10.28

On October 20, the 2026 Shenzhen Finance & AI Application Connect Conference took place at Shenzhen International Financial Technology City, marked by the official release of the Shenzhen Financial AI Solutions Collection (2026). Following rigorous multi-dimensional evaluation by financial industry experts, Farben Information's AI-Powered AML (Anti-Money Laundering) Solution was selected for inclusion. Recognized as one of the key financial AI outcomes in Shenzhen, the solution offers a high-quality pattern for digital compliance across the Greater Bay Area.

Financial AI presents unique challenges. The industry involves complex value chains, stringent compliance requirements, and highly customized solutions. These factors often create information gaps between solution providers and financial institutions. Organized by the Shenzhen FinTech Association, the selection process spanned several months. Experts representing China Merchants Bank, China Everbright Bank(Shenzhen Branch), China Merchants Securities, SDIC Securities, Taiping General Insurance, China Merchants Fund, Ping An Wealth Management, and HKEX Technology evaluated the submissions from the perspective of end-user needs. In the end, 53 high-quality solutions were selected.

Traditional AML operations have long faced three major challenges: mounting regulatory pressure, limited staff capacity, and rising compliance costs. Farben Information (Farben) takes a different approach. Rather than treating AI as a passive analytical tool, Farben deploys a collaborative team of AI agents capable of autonomous analysis, collaborative reasoning, and explainable decision-making.

Key Solution Highlights

Farben's AI-Powered AML Solution features a four-agent collaborative workflow built on a Case Disposition architecture. The Analysis Agent, Deep Research Agent, Narrative Agent, and Decision Agent work together in an end-to-end autonomous analysis pipeline. The solution enables more precise alert filtering, faster end-to-end reviews, and one-click report generation. It reduces the time required for a single AML review from over six hours under traditional manual processes to less than 10 minutes. Every step of the analysis, reporting, and decision-making process generates a complete audit trail. This ensures transparent, traceable AI decisions and meets stringent regulatory requirements for AI explainability.

Proven Results

In Q2 2026, Farben's AI-Powered AML Solution was deployed in an AI-driven AML project at a commercial bank offering a broad range of financial services. The implementation delivered measurable improvements:

  • Review time:  Reduced from 30–60 minutes to under 10 minutes per case.

  • Report consistency:  Improved from below 70% to 100%.

  • Evidence preparation:  Shifted from manual processing to 100% automation.

These results demonstrate the solution's potential to improve operational efficiency, ensure consistent analysis, and strengthen AML compliance.

With over a decade of experience in financial services, Farben has served more than 500 financial institutions worldwide, including over 300 banking clients. Looking ahead, Farben will continue to focus on real-world business needs and explore deeper applications of AI agents in financial regulatory technology. By accelerating the large-scale adoption of financial AI, Farben aims to help shape the future of intelligent finance.
