On November 23, the First Harmony Ecosystem Conference, hosted by the Global Intelligent Internet of Things Consortium (GIIC) and organized by Harmony Ecosystem Service Company, had its grand opening in Shenzhen. More than 2,000 ecosystem partners, industrial elites, experts, and scholars from around the world assembled there to join the grand technological event.
As a core co-building partner and a council member of the GIIC, Farben attended the conference and shared the innovative practical achievements of Harmony. Yan Hua, founder, chairman, and CEO of Farben, was invited to the conference. He discussed with leaders of Huawei as well as top companies in the communications, construction, government service, and internet industries on the development of the Harmony industry and witnessed the grand inauguration of the GIIC and the official launch ceremony of the Harmony Ecosystem Device Unified Interconnection Series Standards.
Co-build a New Harmony Ecosystem to Share New Opportunities in the Era

Under the leadership of chairman Yan Hua, Farben takes the Harmony business as a key strategic direction and makes deep investment in it, attaining positive results. The company has become one of the first diamond partners for the native Harmony application in China and a council member of the GIIC. Inauguration of GIIC
At the conference, the inauguration of the Global Intelligent Internet of Things Consortium (GIIC) was held, and the historic moment was witnessed jointly by the participating leaders and the GIIC representatives. It is a hallmark that the GIIC will work with more ecosystem partners to jointly open a new chapter for IoT innovation. Farben will perform its responsibility and play its role as a council member of the GIIC to help the consortium further promote the global expansion of the Harmony Ecosystem, providing world-class solutions for the future IoT and building an industrial platform with global influence and credibility.
Launch Ceremony of Harmony Ecosystem Device Unified Interconnection Series Standards
At the conference, the Harmony Ecosystem Device Unified Interconnection Series Standards were launched, providing strong support for the standard development of the Harmony Ecosystem. The standards were reviewed and approved by 40 council members of the GIIC, including Farben, at the 3rd meeting of the First Council of the GIIC, to promote interconnections and interoperability among Harmony Ecosystem devices and facilitate the collaborative development of the industrial chain.
At the conference, Huang Qiang, director of the Industry and Information Technology Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality, Xu Zhijun, rotating chairman of Huawei, Gao Tongqing, deputy general manager of China Mobile, Fan Jinlong, deputy secretary of the Party committee and director of the China Academy of Building Research, and other officials and guests delivered speeches, expressing their high recognition of the Harmony Ecosystem and sharing the latest achievements and industrial practices of Harmony.
New Achievements, New Progress, New Blueprint for IoT

Niu Hongbin, general manager of the Production & Research Center at Farben, delivered an onsite speech entitled “Building a Safety Shield for Finance Based on the Features of Harmony.” He shared Farben’s practical cases of applying Harmony in mobile banking and introduced the creation of terminal-cloud integrated, anti-fraud, anti-tamper technical solutions based on the native Harmony safety components and architecture, showcasing Farben’s technological and industrial experience in financial security. He called for more ecosystem partners to join the field in the future so that they could use the features of the native Harmony to jointly develop frictionless and highly reliable safety solutions that fit the characteristics of China’s finance industry and user habits and safeguard the high-speed and orderly development of China’s financial services.

At the glorious inauguration for the first trainers of the GIIC at the Talent Development Forum, Cao Jianghui, head of the Delivery Department of Farben East China, was selected. It fully shows that Farben not only prioritizes internal talent development for Farben but also devotes itself to the spread of Harmony technologies and broader capacity building through public promotions. It is believed that the joint efforts of so many ecosystem partners will help complete the talent foundation for Harmony soon, laying a solid resource guarantee for the all-round promotion of the Harmony Ecosystem.
